Products

There are two types of coated papers: glossy (shiny, smooth) or matte (flat, lusterless). Coated glossy papers reflect light evenly, making them suitable for most types of printing jobs. Glossy papers are able to hold ink well, which is crucial for creating bright, sharp images.

Celloglazing is a thin laminate that makes your printing look great and lasts longer. Lamination is available on 250gsm art boards and heavier boards.

Most artworks require a 2mm Bleed and an additional 5mm safety margin from the trim line. See the individual product pages for artwork templates. Alternatively, contact us at DigiWEB360 for a chat and quotes.
You have three options when it comes to customizing and designing a product.

1. You can customize products starting from scratch with a custom design Click the button to open the Design Studio and access multiple tools to create your design.

2. Upload Design: You can upload your JPEG or PDF images using this option.

3. Browse Design: Use this option to choose from hundreds of preloaded templates. You can modify them in our design studio.
Weight is the measurement of how much paper is used for different purposes. It is expressed in weight in countries that follow the European system (gsm), and it is Pounds per square meter in the US system (lb).

Commonly, the paper used to write/print (letterheads, such as stationery), is 100 gsm. Most flyers are printed on 150gsm coated paper. This is known as text stock.

Card stock that is 250gsm or thicker is called heavy stock. High quality business cards are printed on 350gsm or more card stock.

Both cardstock and paper are weighed in terms of weight, not thickness. A higher gsm does not necessarily mean that the paper is thicker, but it does indicate that it is heavier.

Yes, we keep copies of all artworks from completed jobs in our records for future printing requirements. DigiWEB360 will own such files regardless of their origin and cannot be claimed back.

We take ownership of any files that have been corrected or created by DigiWEB360 to meet customer requests. These files cannot be claimed back.

If the order is placed through DigiWEB360, we will use them for future printing requirements.

Printing

CMYK is the acronym for four colours used in colour printing: Cyan (Magenta), Yellow (Key) and Black. The CMYK model uses partially or entirely masking colours to create a lighter background. This background is often white. Ink reduces the light that would otherwise reflect. This model is known as subtractive because inks or toners minimise the brightness of white.

The RGB colour model, an "additive" colour model, uses Red, Green, and Blue light to create white light on a black screen. The RGB colour model can be used in televisions, mobile phones and projectors, as well as image scanners. However, colour printers are not RGB devices but subtractive colour devices.

Many of the colours that you create in RGB mode cannot be reproduced using standard four-colour printing. To better understand the way your colours will look, it is best to start your document in CMYK mode.
Here are some terms to help you understand full-colour printing.

4/0 - Full-Color Front/No Print On Back
4/1 - Full Colour Front/One Colour Back
4/4 - Full Colour Front/Full Colour back

These names can be pronounced as "Four Over Zero", "Four Over One", and "Four Over Four" and should be used when requesting a quote.

Documentation Approval

Before any order can be made, the proof must be approved by each customer. Digital proofs are sent via email and must be approved without any conditions.

You can contact us by emailif you have any concerns about the digital proof you receive. We will be happy to answer any questions about your product or send you a hardcopy sample.

We can send a physical copy of the proof if required. However, there may be an additional shipping charge.

This can happen sometimes due to variables like ambient conditions, inks/toners and stock (paper) characteristics such as Whiteness, moisture, etc.

However, we’ll do our best to ensure we meet your requirements.

300 dpi is the resolution of the PDF output file.

Digital printing is used by default when it is possible to reduce print runs and get a faster turnaround.

We can do offset printing if you want us to.

Page 1 is the outside cover, while page 2 is the inside. To avoid having blank pages, saddle-stitched books must have pages in multiples of 4. The PDF artwork file must have multiple pages that match the total page count, including the cover pages with 2mm bleed.

Yes, it can!

It is impossible to match the artwork files between two printing companies because the substrate (media used for printing) is different. The Whiteness of the press is different. The printing machine, printing process, toner/inks, and RIP software (which interprets digital files to four CMYK colours for printing) are all different.

There are many variables at play, making it difficult to achieve a consistent colour match.

Yes, it can!

The substrate (media for printing) may behave differently between two different print runs due to the fact that it is another product.

Sometimes, the printing process can be different. Digital vs Offset, therefore there would be other inks vs toners. The RIP software (which interprets digital files to four CMYK colours for printing) would also be different.

There are many variables at play, making it difficult to achieve a consistent colour match.

Yes, they are!

However, the variations can be affected by the colour of the artwork and the nature of the digital device (e.g. mobile screens or desktop monitors). Although the variances can be negligible in many cases, there will always exist a difference between screen and printed colours.

Variations are rare. Even though the digital proof can be viewed on a backlit display, variations between screens will be evident. These screens do not have calibrated daily like our printers.

Therefore, our printing represents the colours from the artwork file, and the screens use RGB color gamut even if you view CMYK coloured art. However, printing is only done with CMYK colours.

Two types of printing can be used when using the Black colour.

Black - 100K: Great for text, borders, and barcodes.

CMYK Black 60 C, 40M, 40Y, 100K: For rich colour depth, use large areas of Black or blocks.
